For ADC, Mechanics makes up 30% of OVR. Laning and Teamfights are also high at 22% each, and Vision & Macro is just 6%. The faster your hands, the faster you grow, but since Mechanics starts declining slowly at 26, it’s the role that has to watch aging the most.
The Stat Ratios That Make Up OVR
| Stat | Ratio | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Mechanics | 30% | The most important. The highest weight of any role. |
| Laning | 22% | The second key stat. |
| Teamfights | 22% | The same weight as Laning. |
| Mental | 12% | A moderate weight. |
| Champion Pool | 8% | On the low side. |
| Vision & Macro | 6% | The lowest. Effectively last in priority. |
Mechanics, Laning and Teamfights make up 74% of OVR. Vision & Macro and Champion Pool add up to only 14%, so you’ll rarely train them. The analyst (Vision & Macro and Champion Pool training +30%) is also the least efficient item for an ADC.
Training Priorities
- Mechanics: put 40% or more of each season’s training here.
- Laning and Teamfights: alternate to fill the remaining training.
- Mental: once or twice a season.
- Champion Pool and Vision & Macro have little effect on OVR, so raise them slowly at the end.
Gear and Seasonal Items
- Mouse: gear that raises Mechanics training efficiency. Tier 3 gives +16%, the largest bonus alongside the monitor. It’s the first gear an ADC should buy (₩3M · ₩12M · ₩45M).
- Keyboard: helps Laning and Teamfights. A good second investment.
- 1:1 Personal Coach: training is concentrated on three stats, so it’s highly efficient.
- The monitor and analyst are lower priority.
Perk Recommendations
Machine Hands (Mechanics ×24) raises Mechanics training efficiency by +12%. An ADC, who trains Mechanics the most, gets it fastest. Next, aim for Laning Master and Fight Architect. Both give training efficiency +12% and team strength +0.3.
Example Season Routine (ages 14–17)
- Weeks 1–3: Mechanics, Mechanics, Rest
- Weeks 4–6: Laning, Teamfights, Rest
- Weeks 7–9: Mechanics, Laning, Rest
- Week 10: Teamfights
That’s 3 Mechanics, 2 Laning and 2 Teamfight sessions. Fit in Mental once a season after the three stats have risen a bit.
After 26: Handling Aging
Mechanics falls by 0–1 each season from 26 and, from 27, by 1–2 like other stats, with an extra 1 of decline if it’s 90 or above. An ADC’s Mechanics is 30% of OVR, so this decline shows up the most. There are three countermeasures.
- Aim for your peak window. Going for the World Championship at 22–25 is most favorable. Transfer to a high-strength team during the period when your title chances are best.
- Get the medical & psych team. It blocks bad events (such as wrist pain). The wrist pain event directly cuts Mechanics.
- Use the Aging Curve event. Spending ₩300M on rehab halves that season’s decline. It’s especially useful for an ADC, whose OVR reflects Mechanics decline heavily.
Vision & Macro and Mental decline less with age, but for an ADC those two stats weigh only 18%. Late in your career, make up for the Mechanics decline with Teamfight, Laning and Champion Pool training, but it’s safer to secure points by buying assets before it’s too late.
