1. Creating a player
Pick a role (Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC or Support) and roll your birthplace, and your potential, trait and family finances are decided. Potential grades are S (96+), A (89+), B (82+), C (74+) and D; the higher the grade, the higher your starting stats and growth limit.
2. One season
A season is 10 weeks. You pick one action each week.
- Training (Laning, Teamfights, Vision, Mechanics, Mental, Champion Pool): the matching stat goes up, but your condition drops.
- Solo queue grind: a random stat goes up and it costs little condition.
- Rest: recovers your condition. Low condition slows growth and raises injury risk.
- Part-time job (age 15+) · Allowance: ways to earn money as an amateur.
When the season ends you get your results, grow a year older, and may receive offers from pro teams.
3. Going pro
| League | Entry requirement (OVR) | Minimum age |
|---|---|---|
| Challengers League (Youth) | 74 | Age 16 |
| LCK CL (Reserve) | 80 | Age 17 |
| LCK (Top division) | 84 | Age 17 |
If you reach age 23 without a pro offer, the pro dream is over. At Emerald (OVR 66) or higher you can pay tuition and train at a team academy to create an opportunity.
4. Parents’ trust
While you’re a student (an amateur aged 19 or under), you have parents’ trust. Begging for allowance lowers it, and at 0 you get the ending where your computer is confiscated. Talented players (grade A or S) can use “Ask Your Parents” to get allowance without losing trust.
5. Retirement and score
You retire automatically at 35, and can retire earlier on your own. The score is calculated like this.
- World Championship title ×40 · MSI ×20 · EWC ×8 · League title ×8 · Reserve title ×4 · Youth title ×2 · Season MVP ×8
- Career peak OVR + score assets (watch, car, house, yacht and more from the shop)
Your score is recorded on the ranking, and you can create a link to your record with “Share” on the retirement screen.
6. The 7 regions
Your birthplace decides the region you play in. Once you’re a pro with OVR 74 or higher in a top-division league, you can also transfer overseas to another region. Each region differs in number of teams, team strength, salary multiplier and international event slots.
| Region | Teams | Top team strength | Salary multiplier | MSI / EWC / Worlds slots |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🇰🇷 LCK (Korea) | 10 | 80 | 1.0× | 2 · 2 · 3 |
| 🇨🇳 LPL (China) | 10 | 79 | 1.8× | 2 · 3 · 3 |
| 🇪🇺 LEC (Europe) | 10 | 74 | 1.25× | 2 · 3 · 3 |
| 🇺🇸 LCS (North America) | 8 | 69 | 1.6× | 2 · 2 · 3 |
| 🌏 LCP (Asia-Pacific) | 8 | 66 | 0.75× | 1 · 2 · 2 |
| 🇧🇷 CBLOL (Brazil) | 8 | 62 | 0.6× | 1 · 1 · 1 |
| 🌎 LLA (Latin America) | 8 | 55 | 0.5× | 1 · 1 · 1 |
Strength values are arbitrary numbers set within the game and have nothing to do with the real teams’ strength. See the regional guide for each region’s traits and tips on choosing.
7. Birthplace bonuses
Your birthplace gives you three kinds of bonuses.
- Infrastructure: a multiplier on training efficiency. At 1.15 training works 15% better, and at 0.8 it works 20% worse.
- Potential bonus: a value added to your potential. Places with weaker infrastructure often get it as compensation.
- Starting stat bonus: the matching stat starts a bit higher from the beginning.
| Birthplace | Region | Infrastructure | Potential | Starting stat bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🏙️ Gangnam, Seoul | LCK | 1.15 | +0 | Laning +3, Vision & Macro +2 |
| 🌊 Haeundae, Busan | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Teamfights +4, Mental +2 |
| 🍎 Daegu | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Mechanics +3, Champion Pool +3 |
| ⚓ Incheon | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Laning, Teamfights and Mechanics +2 |
| 🌾 Gwangju | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Mental +4, Vision & Macro +2 |
| 🔬 Daejeon | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Vision & Macro +4, Champion Pool +2 |
| 🍊 Jeju | LCK | 0.9 | +3 | Mental +6 |
| ⛰️ Gangwon Mountain Village | LCK | 0.8 | +6 | Mechanics +2, Mental +5 |
| 💻 Bundang, Gyeonggi | LCK | 1.1 | +0 | Champion Pool +3, Vision & Macro +3 |
| 🏭 Ulsan | LCK | 1.0 | +0 | Teamfights +5, Laning +1 |
| 🇻🇳 Hanoi, Vietnam | LCP | 1.0 | +2 | Mechanics +5, Laning +3 |
| 🇹🇼 Taipei, Taiwan | LCP | 1.0 | +0 | Laning +3, Mechanics +3 |
| 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Japan | LCP | 1.05 | +0 | Champion Pool +4, Vision & Macro +2 |
| 🇨🇳 Shanghai, China | LPL | 1.1 | +0 | Mechanics, Teamfights and Champion Pool +3 |
| 🇩🇰 Copenhagen, Denmark | LEC | 1.0 | +0 | Vision & Macro +4, Mental +3 |
| 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, USA | LCS | 1.0 | +0 | Teamfights +3, Champion Pool +4 |
| 🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil | CBLOL | 0.9 | +1 | Teamfights +5, Mechanics +2 |
| 🏖️ Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | CBLOL | 0.9 | +1 | Mechanics +4, Laning +3 |
| 🇲🇽 Mexico City, Mexico | LLA | 0.85 | +2 | Teamfights +4, Mental +3 |
| 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Argentina | LLA | 0.85 | +2 | Mental +5, Vision & Macro +2 |
Places with a potential bonus tend to have weaker infrastructure. Training efficiency is lower but the growth limit is higher, so it can actually be an advantage if you plan to develop a player for a long time.
8. Ending collection
This collects the 5 normal retirement grades plus the 10 student-era and deadline endings in one place. See the ending collection for each ending’s conditions and how to avoid it.
